Inspired by micro mouse maze robotic competitions, the Forge brings you the Macro Mouse robotic event. Why Macro? Micro mice robots are a challenge to build and program to run a maze autonomously, so we decided on larger robots. This is year one, so you can use a robot you have, build a new robot or buy a robot. Yes there will be a “competition” but we are doing this for fun so most competitors will run the maze using remote control. Watch the video to get inspired and join us!
This is a shortened “beta” workshop to work out the bugs. In 2027 we plan a full workshop with the goal to autonomously run the maze. This year competitors will remote control their robots. (If there are autonomous robots we will have a category for them in the competition.) The following robots are allowed: Lego Robots, Re-programmed SumoBots and Purchased Robots.
