FIRST Robotics

Welcome to FIRST Robotics at The Forge Initiative! Our FIRST Robotics teams are an integral part of our mission to empower individuals in technology and engineering.

How We Work

Our FIRST Robotics teams are open to members who are part of The Forge Initiative community. These teams operate on a volunteer basis with a high level of parental involvement.

Parents may serve as team coaches, mentors, or provide support in various capacities. We believe in the importance of family engagement and teamwork, making a meaningful impact within The Forge and beyond.

Not Just a Program, but an Investment

Forge FIRST Robotics teams are not merely a drop-off after-school program; they represent a commitment to investing in your family’s growth and the future of technology and engineering.

Through hands-on experiences and collaborative efforts, we aim to prepare youth and adults for success in an ever-evolving world.

Forge Teams Contribute

Forge FIRST Robotics teams actively contribute to The Forge’s mission through various activities including fundraising, outreaches, events, workshops, and camps.

These efforts not only support our organization but also provide valuable experiences for team members to develop their skills and contribute to the community.

Membership & Participation

While being a member of The Forge does not guarantee a spot on a FIRST Robotics team, it offers families a supportive space to connect with a community of like-minded individuals and lifelong learners. We encourage families to see participation in Forge FIRST teams as an investment in their own future and the future of other families within our community.
